Hi David,
I agree that cornflakes are good for you, but in the morning it's good to have a bowl of porridge. Oats are great to keep your energy levels for a long time as they release they energy slowly as day continues. Small portion for breakfast can keep you full for up to 4 or 5 hours. I regularly check this theory on myself.
