Just fall asleep...

Some say the remedy for insomnia is in our heads. Recent tests show that therapy, which teaches you how to relax at the evening and calm down your thoughts will help to fight with insomnia.
The main reason why we are straggling to fall asleep after we go to bed lies in difficulties to let go and forget about our problems at night.
Psychologists suggest a few simple tricks to break free from the intrusive thoughts:
1. Jot down your worriment. Just after the diner try to trace the plan of solving your problems which await you tomorrow.
2. Relax your muscles. Some simple movements (yoga, Pilates, tai chi) even for 10 minutes will help you to release psychological pressure.
3. Turn on the music. The best will be classical one. There is a reason for some many people adoring this type of music.
Some also suggest a method called visualisation. It can help you to free yourself from everyday worries and fall asleep. Imagine yourself in your favourite place (preferably something quieter than a busy night club :). It can be a seaside, a mountainside, or that time when you went camping with your other half. Do you remember that great feeling of peace and silence in your head? Try to grab it and keep it with you, so every time you cannot fall asleep you come back to that mood and it will help you to relax.
