What Can I Make My Boyfriend For Valentine's Day?

This year, Valentine's Day is very special for me and my boyfriend because it is the first we get to spend it together. Last year, we were also a couple, but due to a scholarship he had abroad we did not get to be together back then. So I want to make it very special this time, so we can take revenge for the last year too. What can I make my boyfriend for Valentine's Day in order to make it unforgettable? I thought about this for days now and these are the ideas I came up with:

1. I could bake a cake in the shape of a heart. I have even bought a heart mould in case I will decide to go for this. I think I will make it a strawberries cake in order to have red, the color of passion, on it, and I will use for glazing also whipped cream. Looks delicious, doesn't it? I hope it will also taste deliciously.

2. I was thinking about going for something more traditional like a romantic dinner. It never fails in surprising the other pleasantly. I will cook his favorite dish and a light desert, choose some nice romantic music and create also a romantic atmosphere: candles, roses petals on the floor, fire place. All in all, I hope to make it an unforgettable evening.

3. While I has starting to have already headaches thinking about What can I make my boyfriend for Valentine's Day, surprisingly I came up with more original ideas. Why not make him something with my own hands? Something more personal. The easiest thing to do is a greeting card. I will buy some perfumed cardboard, some red velvet from which I will cut a heart shape and than I will stick it on the card. The best part is the message I am going to write. I do not have it in mind yet, I wear it in my heart. I will write something simple and sincere, something that I hope it will touch him deeply.

4. Here is an idea you could use if you are asking yourself, just like me, "What can I make my boyfriend for Valentine's Day?" and if your boyfriend is, just like mine, a fan of wines. I will buy a bottle of fine wine, but I will not give it to him like this. I will wrap it in paper and then I will write on this paper with different colors the reasons why I love him. I will also tell him that I hope, that just like wine, our life together will become better, the more time goes by.

5. Then, starting from this idea, another one came into my mind. Making a collage of photos with the two of us. It could be an album, a framed panel or it could be a PowerPoint presentation. It doesn't really matter the support, because the idea itself is powerful.

6. While thinking about what can I make my boyfriend for Valentine's Day, I realized that I could knit something for him. I am a pretty good knitter and I could make a scarf or a pair of gloves. I think he will love them knowing that they are handmade by me.
